SPRING WINE TASTING

The Visual Arts Center of New Jersey will host a Spring Wine Tasting on Saturday, April 25, 2009 in partnership with Master of Wine, Christopher Cree, owner of 56 Degree Wine in Bernardsville.

The wine tasting will feature a selection of wines focusing on small, family-owned growers whose philosophy is that great wine is made in the vineyard. These artisan wines are undiscovered and remain affordable. Prior to the tasting, Chris Cree will hold a special one-hour seminar on artisan wine methods and practices featuring an especially selected wine flight. 56degreewine.com

NEW CHILD ART THERAPY CLASS

Art Exploration (ages 4 - 8), run in partnership with Intensive Therapeutics, is a new art program designed for children with special needs who exhibit limitations in fine and gross motor skills, socialization and play skills due to diagnoses such as cerebral palsy and autism spectrum disorder. Art Exploration is a unique program that is team-taught by a pediatric occupational therapist and a professional teaching artist.
