CREATIVE TO SUPPORT ARTS EDUCATION!
Come join in the fun at Images: The Bare Walls Event on Friday,
June 12, 2009 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at the Art Center.
Attendees will have the opportunity to contribute to a large scale
contemporary art project focusing on the theme of art and community
in the Main Gallery. Other hands-on art activities at the event
include ceramics and figure drawing from a live model.
This event will raise funds to support the Art Center's
Community Outreach Programs for underserved and economically
disadvantaged audiences throughout New Jersey. Contemporary
barbeque cuisine will be presented by the Corporate Division of
David Ellis Catering. Tickets start at $100. For more information,

ANNUAL MEMBERS' SHOW
June 19 through July 24, 2009
Join the Art Center in celebrating local artistic
talent at the opening reception on Friday, June 19th, from 6 to 8
p.m. New this year, Art Center students will be selling their work
at the Members' Show opening reception on Friday June 19th through
Saturday the 20th. The opening reception is free and open to the
public.

All members are hereby notified that the 77th Annual Meeting of
the membership of the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey will be held
on Wednesday November 18, 2009 at 7:00PM at the Arts Center, 68 Elm
Street, Summit, New Jersey. All members are encouraged to attend.
