TEEN ART CAMP (AGES 13 15)
Get ready for a NEW Teen Art Camp this year! This years camp for teens will be geared towards the more mature aspiring artist. There will be no themes for this camp (only Kids Camp is connected to a theme). Projects will be different each week so that you can sign up for multiple weeks. Each week students will work on several projects in various media including painting, drawing, ceramics, digital media and more.

Cancellation Policy: Refunds for canceled camp/portfolio sessions will be handled in the following manner:
Cancellation 14 days or more before the session begins: 80% refund
Cancellation 7 13 days before the session begins: 60% refund
Cancellation 3 6 days before the session begins: 40% refund
Cancellation 0 2 days before the session begins: No refund
PORTFOLIO DEVELOPMENT INTENSIVE (ages 16 - 18)
This program offers students the opportunity to work on their entrance portfolio for submittal to fine arts colleges over the course of four weeks. Based on the curriculums and portfolio requirements of the top five fine arts schools (Rhode Island School of Design, School of Visual Arts, Pratt, Parsons, Maryland Institute College of Art), each week is designed to cover a specific topic. Each topic will be closely examined through demonstrations, hands on exercises, and art history lessons, and will conclude with a class critique which parents/guardians are invited to attend. Attendance all four weeks is not required. All materials are provided.

Explore the figure and draw from live (nude) models. Learn how to achieve anatomical accuracy in figural renderings by learning about major forms and contours, measuring, sighting and the Canon of Proportions. All work will be completed in black and white
Cost: $450/week due to daily live model

Explore modern painting techniques by experimenting with abstraction and non-traditional methods of representation. All work will be completed in color.

| Session 3: Perspective & Spatial Illusion | |

Master the application of one, two and three-point perspectives, explore the usage of vanishing points, and learn how to accurately portray interior and exterior space through the rendering of detail. All work will be completed in black and white.

| Session 4: Compositional Studies Through Still Life | |

Instructor: Anne Kullaf
Learn about composition, light & shadow, color & value and more while working from various still life arrangements. Work will be completed in both black & white and color.
